Status Pro Sport’s Role in PSSI & KNVB Partnership

KNVB and PSSI Signed a MoU to seal the partnership.

The KNVB announced a partnership with PSSI, the Indonesian Football Federation. The partnership was clinched with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the KNVB's visit to Indonesia.

PSSI's President Erick Thohir stressed that this partnership will help Indonesia make significant progress in men's and women's football. "PSSI and KNVB have agreed to develop a stronger relationship between the two federations for mutual benefit, promotional development and sustainable football success," Erick Thohir said.

Gijs De Jong, Secretary General of the KNVB, is very happy with this cooperation. He explains how the Netherlands is a great football team with many top coaches and talent identification. This cooperation is an important step for the future of football in Indonesia and the Netherlands. The duration of the agreement is four years. The partnership suits the KNVB as a founding member of FIFA. It feels a responsibility to keep innovating and developing football.

Status Pro Sport plays a key role in this collaboration by facilitating, developing and ensuring that this partnership is mutually beneficial. "In recent years, we have worked with both federations on great projects. In many areas, this is the right time from our vision to bridge the gap between the Netherlands and Indonesia in terms of football development and the many other opportunities that will arise as a result. We will support this intensive partnership in various ways from our offices in the Netherlands and Indonesia." Says Estafano van Aanholt, Managing Director of Status Pro Sport.

Marc Klok is proud to make a dream come true: ‘’As someone who went through the Dutch football academy and made the step to Indonesia, I am very proud to realise this. Both countries can strengthen each other considerably and to be part of this together with Status Pro Sport is something I am very proud of and with which I am able to leave a positive impact on the Indonesian football landscape.‘’

Furthermore, the KNVB met with the Ministry of Youth and Sports. They discussed a possible cooperation in football and futsal for grassroots development.

The first result of the cooperation is the practice international between the Dutch women's team against Indonesia on Friday 25 October.
