Marc Klok, captain of Persib Bandung, marked his 32nd birthday in a unique and impactful way by hosting “Padel O’Klok”—a dynamic padel exhibition at Padel;Parc Tebet, South Jakarta. The event blended sports, charity, and community engagement, reflecting Klok’s dedication to giving back.
Klok, born in Amsterdam, welcomed football stars Greg Nwokolo, Ilija Spasojević, Marko Šimić, and Gervane Kastaneer, alongside key figures from his career, including representatives from Mills, Persib Bandung coach Bojan Hodak, former pro Arthur Irawan, and Borneo FC President Nabil Husein. Attendees enjoyed friendly matches and lighthearted moments on the court.
Sponsored by CLEAR and supported by Zozo, Oatside, and ION Water Pocari Sweat, the event offered more than sports. CLEAR’s interactive booth provided scalp health checks and personalized shampoo advice, adding a fun twist to the festivities. The highlight, however, was the official launch of the Marc Klok Foundation, which debuted with a fundraiser for Jakarta’s Amputee Football Team (PSAI Jakarta). A custom-designed ball by illustrator Azka Alfi was auctioned, with Persija striker Marko Šimić securing the winning bid to support the cause.
Status Pro Sport and the Marc Klok Foundation collaborated to ensure seamless execution, from venue coordination to branding and logistics. Their partnership underscored the power of purpose-driven events that unite communities while delivering memorable experiences for participants and sponsors alike.
