Status Pro Esports x Heracles Almelo

Status Pro Esports and Heracles Almelo started a partnership for the EA FC 25 season.

Introduction

Heracles Almelo, an established name in the Dutch esports scene, has announced a partnership with Status Pro Sport for the upcoming EA FC 25 season. This partnership marks a new phase in Heracles' esports strategy, with the club looking to strengthen its position as a top club in the Dutch esports world.

The Case

Heracles Almelo, with an impressive history in esports, including a championship on the XBOX in 2018, aims to improve its performance after a quarter-final exit in the previous season. The challenge lies in optimising the performance of their esporters and increasing their commercial clout in the competitive world of esports.

Our Approach

Status Pro Esports takes the lead in training Heracles Almelo's esporters:

1. Expert coaching: Yesse Frijters, an experienced coach, will lead the training sessions.

2. Targeted training: Collin Dekkers and Milan Plevier, Heracles' eSporters, will receive personalised training sessions.

3. Commercial support: Status Pro Sport will assist Heracles Almelo in connecting strong brands to the club.

The Result

Although the results are yet to be achieved, the objectives are clear:

1. Qualification for international tournaments: The primary goal is for Heracles Almelo's eSports team to qualify for major international tournaments.

2. Strengthened market position: By combining sporting performance and commercial growth, Heracles aims to strengthen its position in the eSports market. The aim is to reach younger fans and to bind them to Heracles Almelo.

3. Prize money and recognition: With a prize pool of €50,000 and tickets to the World Cup and the eChampions League at stake, the forthcoming KPN eDivisie season, starting on 5 November, offers considerable opportunities for success and recognition.

This partnership between Heracles Almelo and Status Pro Sport illustrates the growing professionalisation of eSports in the Netherlands and the increasing focus on structured training and commercial development in the sector.
