Navarone Foor is returning to the Dutch fields. The 32-year-old midfielder has signed a contract with VVV-Venlo in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. Status Pro Sport is proud to have realised this transfer for the experienced player.
Foor, who previously played for NEC Nijmegen and Vitesse Arnhem, brings a wealth of experience to De Koel. After adventures at Al Ittihad, Pafos FC, Riga FC, SC Cambuur, Karmiotissa and Bandirmaspor, the technically gifted midfielder now opts to return to the Netherlands.
FIFA Licensed Agent Estafano van Aanholt is delighted with the transfer: ‘We are extremely proud of this transfer. Our shared Moluccan background makes this partnership extra special. Navarone's experience and qualities will be invaluable for VVV-Venlo. We are convinced he will play a key role in the team.’
Foor himself is looking forward to his new challenge: ‘VVV is an esteemed club whose supporters you know are behind it. A warm club with a lot of history and big names who have played here like Keisuke Honda.’
On his ambitions at the club, Foor is clear: ‘We are still in the race for the period. We want to achieve as much success as possible and win games with the team. The ultimate goal is of course to get promoted. It will be a tough job but nothing is impossible.’
With his technique, insight and experience at the highest level, Foor is a valuable asset for the Venlo club. VVV-Venlo hope to get one step closer to their goals with the arrival of the creative midfielder.
Status Pro Sport wishes Navarone the best of luck at his new club!
