Marc Klok has gained international recognition as he has been nominated for the 2024 FIFPRO Merit Awards. FIFPRO is the Professional Football Players Association and they often give out awards to recognize football players who are influential to society. The Merit Awards have been FIFPRO's way of recognizing inspiring footballers since 2008. This year, Marc Klok has been nominated alongside seven other footballers from around the globe.

Marc Klok has made a significant impact on Indonesian society through his foundation, The Marc Klok Foundation. The foundation aims to support underprivileged children in Indonesia by building schools and sports facilities. It has undertaken numerous projects, such as renovating the football field in Cipinang Besar Utara, the renovation and construction of the Budi Mulia Special School (SLB) in Cililin, West Bandung Regency, and organizing a football coaching clinic in Bogor.

Marc's vision is that every child should have equal opportunities in education and sports to help them achieve their dreams. Marc Klok stated, "I want to inspire millions of people and leave a legacy with pitches and schools on as many islands as possible." He also added, "My biggest dream is to create a community of football players, artists, celebrities, and even companies, all sharing the same mission and vision."
