Rami, born 18 February 2007 in Lelystad, is a talented central defender who took his first steps on the football pitch at vv Unicum. After strong performances at Unicum's O13 and O15 teams, he made the move to Go Ahead Eagles, where he continued to develop his career from the O15s onwards. In recent years, he has proven himself in Go Ahead Eagles' various youth teams, including the O15, O16 and O18.

His development at club level goes hand in hand with his achievements at national level. In the 2023-2024 season, Rami was part of the final selection of Oranje Future O17, demonstrating his talent at the highest level of his age group. To crown his hard work and leadership qualities, he has been named captain of Go Ahead Eagles O19 for the 2024-2025 season, despite being a first-year O19 player.

Rami's strengths as a defender are undeniable: with a height of 1.78 metres and his preference for the right leg, he is a solid central defender who stands his ground. His versatility means he can play on both the left and right central sides, and he dares to dribble when the situation allows. His leadership is visible in his constant verbal presence on the pitch, where he positively guides and motivates his teammates.

In addition, Rami is also someone who never sits still when it comes to his personal development. He regularly reviews matches and actively discusses them with the technical staff to improve his game. This dedication has earned him recognition not only at youth level, but also at the highest club level: this season, he made his unofficial debut for Go Ahead Eagles 1 in preparation, during a match against Almere City. This debut underlines his potential and ability to compete at the highest level.

With his strong defensive qualities, leadership, experience with Oranje Future O17, as well as his first steps towards the first team of Go Ahead Eagles, Rami has everything to become an important player for both club and country. His future looks promising.
